Black British Heritage Celebration 2025 - Highlights

The Black British Heritage Celebration was founded in 2019 by former Miramar Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis, who now serves as a Broward County Commissioner. Each year, Commissioner Davis continues to organize this distinguished event recognizing Black Britons whose contributions strengthen culture, community, and industry across Florida and beyond. The celebration is held annually in October, coinciding with Black British Heritage Month in the United Kingdom.

The event took place at the Miramar Cultural Center, where guests enjoyed a sophisticated evening of cultural cuisine, live entertainment, and awards presented to individuals making a remarkable impact in their respective fields.
